  2. 2 tbsp poppy seeds
  3. 2 tbsp melon seeds
  4. 2 tbsp fennel seeds
  5. 12-15 almonds

  7. 2 pinch cinnamon powder
  8. 1 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  9. 5-6 strands saffron
  10. 1 1/2 tbsp dried rose petals
  11. Ingredients for kheer:-
  12. 2 litre milk
  13. 1/4 cup basmati rice (washed and soaked for 15 minutes)
  14. 1/2 condensed milk
  15. 1/2 cup sugar(or according to taste)
  16. 4-5 almonds chopped
  17. 4-5 pistachios chopped
  18. 4-5 cashews chopped
  19. 1 tbsp charoli/chironjee
  20. 1 tsp cardamom powder
  21. as needed Few strands saffron
  22. 1/2 cup milk

Instructions to make to make Thandai Kheer

  1. Firstly take all the ingredients of thandai masala and grind them to a fine powder. Add this powder to 1/2 cup milk. Mix well and keep aside.
  2. Heat a heavy bottom pan on medium to high flame. Add in the milk and let it boil.
  3. When the milk comes to a boil, add rice and reduce the flame.
  4. Keep stirring till the kheer remains one third of the original quantity.
  5. Add condensed milk, sugar, chopped nuts, thandai and milk mixture, cardamom powder and saffron.
  6. Mix well and let it cook for more 8-10 minutes on low flame.
  7. Switch off the flame. Garnish the kheer with some more nuts and serve.
  8. Or let it cool down completely and keep it in refrigerator.
    Serve chilled.
